I booked a dorm room, but as I only arrived via night bus, I only stayed for 1 night, so they put me in a private room, which was great. The location is also good, lots of cafes around.

Not the cleanest place. Would love if there was hot water.

the Mt. Ijen tour is normally on a weekend 350.000 they charge 380.000

"Nice staff, cool rooms made from bamboo"

Really cool rooms made from bamboo. Comfy bed and good wifi. The staff are really helpful and will sit and chat with you. It's great to sit out in the communal area at night and a good place to meet people.
