Premier Hostel Chiang Mai

Really nice place, very clean and a lot of space. Close to the shops in the old city.

The location is superb, very central. We got the private room which is spacious. The cafe next door is very convenient. For the amount we paid it was good value for money

The shower doesn't have a curtain or anything so the whole bathroom gets wet and it seems that the walls are a bit moldy as they are always wet and haven't been deep cleaned. There is lots of noise, you can hear people in the hallway and we got woken up at 7 everyday as there is lots of noise from the street outside.

The bed was very comfortable and the location is pretty decent

The staff were a little moody when I first checked in and didn’t seem welcoming at all! Also there are no lockers in the dorms which is ridiculous.

What a place! Definitely one of the best in whole Thailand! I was so excited that stayed there longer! I have stayed in many hostels all around the world but this one…amazing! Bunk bed was so private and actually pretty big! More like tiny room! The staff is welcoming, helpful and super friendly!

I had to leave

It is in an area where you can easily walk to everything. The rooms are acceptable and have the essentials.

The hostel staff is not very sociable. The Wi-Fi connection is terrible, it works very poorly, slow and unstable. Not recommended for those who have to work depending on the internet. When paying by card they charge you an additional 3%. It is the only hostel in Thailand that has charged us this. In the 4 days that we stayed there, there was a tray of noodles under the stairs that was not removed, which seems unhygienic to me.

I liked each bunk had floor space and a spot to have your bag open, as well as hang a couple pieces of clothing. Having your own space in a shared room was great too with the curtains! Air Conditioning in each room was perfect because we could controll it, makes the heat that much more managable!

I didn't really like that outside of the benches and tables, there wasn't a common room with comfier chairs or couches that you could spend time out of your room comfortably.
