The stairs. Narrow and lots of stairs. Not good with heavy suitcase. But staff will help you if you need them .

Si llegas antes de la hora marcada como inicio de check in te tienes que esperar. No puedes entrar antes aunque haya gente dentro.

The 3 reception staff are great! Room was spot on. Owner was great as I accidentally locked myself out and get claustrophobic so panicked a bit when in the hall bit locked out but a quick phone all and all was well again.

Everything. Very clean and cosy

Needed another pillow.

I booked a last minute stay at the Ocean Backpackers Hostel as I wanted to stay in North Devon for an extra day. The room looked good on Booking.com and was reasonable so I thought I'd book it. Upon arrival and viewing the room I decided not to stay as it was poorly decorated, very springy bed and a tiny ensuite. No picture of this shown but part of the reason I booked the room as I didn't want a shared bathroom.

The fact that after booking, arriving and cancelling the stay due to the above (all within an hour of the booking) they won't refund the amount paid for the room. Booking.com & Clearpay are now involved in the dispute. I've booked many rooms over the years at various places and I've never ever decided not to stay at one until now. The pictures advertised are very well dressed to sell the accommodation and selectively taken. If you want cheep and don't care about anything then Ocean Backpackers is probably okay but personally I'd prefer to sleep in my car. Honest review.

Everything was great. Clean rooms. Wonderful and fully equipped kitchen. Friendly staff.

As a hostel experience you won't have a huge amount of space if that is what you are looking for but you still have privacy.
