MUTE Hostel Porto Covo

Great location by the ocean and not far from town, loved the common areas (pool, lounge, rooftop bar). Surprise yoga class which was really lovely, great instructor. Breakfast great. Staff all super friendly and amazing.

Coffee — instant at breakfast. Just do a big batch brew for breakfast would be so much better! Restaurant food left a little to be desired (small portions, guac didn’t have much avocado). Cleanliness — bathrooms, showers, yoga mats filthy with dirt maybe even some blood mixed in, a little unsure if sheets were fresh. Bathroom design — SO small. Not very functional design for bathroom or showers.

Some showers were terrible, all the wood decking, around the pool, and stairs needed a big thick coat of paint…

Location and breakfast

3 out of 4 shower heads broken. Reported and nothing changed all week.
