LoTide Surf Camps Lombok

This was by far the dirtiest and filthiest hostel I have ever stayed in during all my travels. The bed linen had stains, there was trash left in the beds from previous guests, including hair and other dirt. On top of that, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable — you could feel every single spring. The shower and toilet smelled unbearably of urine. The bathroom was not cleaned at all — during my two-day stay, the same urine-soaked piece of toilet paper remained on the floor the entire time. Do not be fooled by the good reviews. You only get the free breakfast after leaving a positive review, which feels very misleading. I would absolutely not recommend this hostel. The only positive aspects were its fairly convenient location, its easy to socialize with others there and the possibility to refill drinking water.

Nice common area, friendly staff, not too far from the main road - easier if you ride a scooter, beds were comfy.

The shower always smelt strongly of stale urine and didn't seem to get cleaned properly at all during my 3 night stay. Toilet also wasn't super clean.
