Location was amazing. Waking up to the waves was heavenly.

No hot water for the entire stay.

You can't beat the location if you want to sleep on the beach or need to unplug. It's a small fishing/surfing village, with a touristic twist. The waves are quite intense so swimming may or may not be a good idea depending on the waves. We enjoyed watching the fisherman putting the boats in the water in the morning, the whole community comes to help. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, this isn't it. It's a wonderful little spot on a beautiful beach. The internet works. It's accessible by bus and a half a mile walk (or moto ride). It's also a short bus ride to the entrance of Tayrona Park. We absolutely loved sleeping with the sound of the waves.

Not the fault of the hotel, but bring bug spray. They do provide a nice mosquito screen over the bed. We used the fan when we were lounging in the hammocks.

Near to the sea. Clean room. Nice women doing the check-in. Cleaning staff cleaned every day the room. The girls who take the food orders @ the restaurant were professional and nice. The breakfast was good (not included in the price) Speakers were not allowed in the room.

-Lack of privacy- 1.Room downstairs:You could watch from outside inside the bathroom where the shower and toilet is located. Rooms upstairs:There is just a curtain inbetween your bed and the people outside which move with the wind. 2.Restaurant:Clients of the restaurant were sitting next to the room. U got exposed to their cigarette smoke. Some of them turn also their chair towards the rooms instead of towards the sea which was pretty akward. and putting their speakers on. The kitchen chef got angry when we asked for the sauce which was supposed to be served with the fish we ate there. He gave us just one and all his anger. 3.Noise:U can hear what everyone is doing in their rooms. -Smell in the rooms-which were coming from the bottom of the house.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice with the highlight being that you can hear the waves crash on the beach while in your bed. Totally recommend Calma Chicha

Beautiful location, all rooms have sea view

Rooms and Balconies are very close to each other, little privacy.

A really nice view when you wake up, as the ocean is directly in front of you. One should be aware that in the upper rooms there is no window/door towards the ocean.

It gets quite hot but a fan is in the room.

We liked the proximity to the beach, the private hammocks, the mosquito net.

It gets very hot especially in the bathroom.
