Staff were lovely and helpful, location was perfect

No hot water in women’s shower, definitely not worth the high price tag. Bathrooms need some more attention and work to be done on the hostel overall

Great location, nice rooms, great potential.

A lack of atmosphere, there was very few others here. There is space on the roof that could be made into a great socialising space. Lots of mosquitoes/fleas in the kitchen (don’t sit on the sofa thing!) ended up with 5 bites while sat down drinking a cup of coffee.

The mattresses could be upgraded to provide more support.

Location

They would not refund even though we did not stay. Place smelt very bad, no windows, basement. My autoimmune disease prevented my stay. I would have been very ill by morning if I had slept in that room. I very kindly explained the situation and now they are not responding.

The location was fantastic and the wifi was reliable. There were lots of good restaurants only a short walk away and it was an easy walk from the beaches and the ferry terminal. The breakfast was simple and tasty- fresh fruit and toast.

The bathroom set up was substandard. It wasn't kept clean and there was no area to leave clothes while showering or space to get dressed. The dorm room was very basic with quite uncomfortable beds and outdated set up. When comparing with other hostels nowadays, there were only 2 plug sockets to share between four beds and the only lights were the main lights.

Close to the fairy and the beaches, you can regulate the temperature in the shared rooms by yourself, beds were pretty comfortable, breakfast was included
