Alpine Base Hostel - Adults only

Would have liked to switch rooms to the other side when it was available but was discouraged

La ubicación y vista son increíbles. Las instalaciones muy buenas, la cocina súper completa. La atención muy amable. El ambiente excelente.

Alpine Base was our favourite accommodation we stayed at in Europe. From the moment we got there Johnny was so welcoming and helpful even carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me. He taught us to walk the tightrope and he cut wood so we could make a fire on our first night there. On our last day he took 8 of us, along with some bubbles, to sail on his boat and it was a beautiful day. The location was fantastic just a short walk or bus ride from Lauterbrunnen station. The scenery and walking paths around the accomodation were just breathtaking. The facilities at Alpine base were fantastic- a big shared kitchen, large bathrooms, beautiful views from our bedroom window and lots of entertainment including a pool table, darts, ping-pong and board games. All the staff were friendly and helpful and if we ever go to Greece we’ll be sure to track down Johnny and Lucy’s new hostel to stay with them again!

This was the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were awesome! Shout out to Captain Johnny for taking 8 of us out on his sailboat! We had the most awesome day. If you stay at AlpineBase, you can’t miss that!

The bathrooms were a bit outdated. And I wish there was an oven in the kitchen! There were only stovetops. An update to the facilities would make this place absolutely perfect!

The property was well maintained, always clean and was exactly how i expected it to be!
