Tubotel

As a solo traveller, I really enjoyed the vibe of Turbotel. Loved the staff and owners. Uncle Mike is a gem. The breakfast is the best I've had on my 2 months trip through Indonesia and Malaysia. The Seaview is to die for. Spent most of my time sitting in my favourite spot, watching the ocean, boats coming and going and people coming for dinner. Thank you Alex and Co, for an awesome time.

Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice, and choices that I have never seen before. The quality and taste of all 4 breakfasts we had were fantastic. It was the best breakfast we had from 112 days of travelling Asia in similarly priced hotels. Staff were great, helpful and always on hand (including the boss, his wife and waitress Nanna). Seaview was beautiful. The hotel was very unique, colourful and well decorated. A quirky stay in the tube. There was a cute friendly dog on site. Free filtered chilled water on site.

Could be better gluten free options or at least allergen information on menus. I would have liked it if there was tea/coffee in the tube, however the owner was very accommodating in allowing us to boil our kettle (yes, we really travel with one) and make our coffee in the public spaces

I dont like the room or accomodation so small and we cannoy move around the room,also more important is the tiolet are separate. Disappointed i expect the same rooms as i see before those rooms in other hotel

Alex and his staff were great. 5 star views and fantastic food at Tapas restaurant. Will be back

staff is very friendly also the view is remarkable in sunrise &sunset

room is enough for one person also the facility is pretty old not what I expected. And the hotel is too expensive for what they offers also is far from beaches and activities island.

unique hostel with a reasonably good location. there’s a short cut to town that google doesn’t pick up, and also some e-scooters so the beach isn’t too far. cheap local laundry service and within the property they do a good breakfast and cheap beers. relaxing vibe and an entertaining owner Alex!

usual caveats of a basic hostel, but you get what you pay for
