Tenerife Hostel

Location... It's close to the beach and nightlife but the accommodation your very close to being robbed, stabbed in your sleep, diseases from the toilets, etc etc I've seen better places in war torn countries.

The bed was ok.

The ver not a window in the rum. The flor in the room have carpet like garden. Green nylon carpet. Very thin and not in one pice. The oner was not friendly and did not send the address. He let us have address of bar where he vas working.

-In walking distance to the bus station and to the ferry -Close to the beach and to many shops and restaurants and at the same time quiet at night. -Stable bunk beds (not squeaky) with good matrasses. -Air conditioning, fridge and water cooker in the room, microwave and more stuff in the common kitchen. -Bathroom with shower (really nice hot water), shampoo and soap right at the sleeping room. -The nice guy at the supermarket where you check in. He immediately closed the market and acompannied me to the hostel. -Safety. The main entrance is always closed, you can lock your room and there is a locker for everyone right in your room.

-Everything except the matrasses seems to be very old. -There is no lights or plugs at the beds. -No stove in the kitchen -No terrace or garden -Cleaning was done quite superficially (bathroom okay, but in the room not under the bed ni in the corners)

There’s nothing good about this place, it shouldn’t be allowed

I was scammed by the manager, after paying for a 4 bedroom room I was given a 8 bedroom one. I asked to move but was told that people do heavy drugs in that room, I asked for the extra money I paid for the 4 bedroom room to be refunded, because I paid 12 euro extra for the 4 bedroom room but was told to talk later, and then told I can’t have a refund.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

It was disgustingly dirty! I left immediately on being shown in! I’d like my money back please! 🙏🏼

My experience didn't reflect the negative reviews I read. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the shower was hot and the location was great! It wasn't perfect but it was very cheap. (I've stayed in hostels and even hotels that were much more expensive and didn't tick these boxes.) I had a great couple of nights' stay in the female dorm (bonus -ground floor so didnt loads of stairs with a heavy rucksack). I would definitely stay here again.

The only issue I had initially was that Google maps was confused about where Tenerife Hostel was. However, a quick call to the number and easy directions were given in (good) English.
