Sunset Surfhouse Morocco

My friend and I had a fantastic week. The location is perfect and comfortable, the staff is helpful and welcoming and the food is very good. We will be back very soon!

Perfect location if you want to avoid the crowd of Taghazoul, but if you are not surfing there isn't really much else to do. The staff was super friendly, special thanks to Carlos for fixing up everything for me and to Katia, for being such a patient and kind human being. And obviously all the beautiful ladies who work in the kitchen and made us the best meal you can have in all Tamraght!

The rooms have pretty much no sound insulation at all, so it's impossible to sleep after 8am, but it's also true that if you wake up early you can enjoy the morning hours Apart from that really good stay

The staff was amazing, we had such a great time with Carlos, Caro and Sabrina. The dinner there was always really good, among the best food we've had in Morocco. There were also always good vegan options available. Can only recommend this place!

Everything was beyond amazing!! It was the best experience, the staff were all increddible! The surf lessons were so helpful & fun, followed by yoga in the evening which was a perfect way to end the day. We had dinner each night at the hostel & it was so delicious. Sunset Surfhouse is the perfect place for any travellers - solo or with friends. I cannot wait to come back asap.

Lovely place, well thought out communal areas providing lots of space to relax and socialise. Super well organised with surf lessons, group dinners etc. Staff were great and really added to the environment in the group. Food was absolutely superb. Very clean and well maintained.

Most of the rooms were internal to the building, so they didn't have external windows and were quite noisy.

There is such a great vibe at this hostel. Everyone working and staying there is super fun and welcoming. We stayed in the private top room which is super nice. It has an ensuite bathroom with a rooftop view. The owner Abdul is such a lovely human and really wanted us to have a great time in tamraught. They rent nice surf boards and good wetsuits that are in really good condition and the food is amazing! Will definitely go back. Loved it.

Eat at the house, they make the best food in the hole city ny far. we tried Alot of different places in town but this was the best food option, local and amazing. cheep also.

This hostel has a really great vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful and surfing with the instructors Amin and Rashid was a lot of fun. The dinner was simply amazing and the overall cleanliness was very good. Definitely one of my best hostel experiences so far.

Our room was unfortunately a bit small and w/o a normal window and therefor we had to open the door during the night so the room didn't heat up too much. This led to a lack of sleep across the stay, as we were woken up quite early in the morning through the kitchen noises or other guests even with earplugs in. Something like a fan in the rooms would really be helpful.

-The Staff was really kind and funny. -A lot of good Surfspots, so you can find a spot that isn't overcrowded with good waves. -Morocco Dinner in the Hostel with Stuff and Hostelguest, good to meet peoples and the food is the best near tamraght. (With tea and dessert) -takeaway restaurant and a view shops are directly next to the hostel. -3 different Surfspots are near to the hostel, ca. 10min from the Hostel by foot.

Highly social and Abdoul makes an effort to get to know each guest and involve them. Has multiple outside areas, communal dinners (€10) and a table tennis table. Ideal for surfing.
