Great location with nice cafes and supermarket just next to, 2 mins walk to the beach. My private room was spacious and nice, cleaning was done regularly and help given when needed. Big open kitchen with lots of space for cooking and sitting.

First I was placed in a room downstairs which was really small and had a claustrophobic feeling. It had windows all around, but the curtains had to be shut as everyone was walking by, so not a lot of privacy. Definitely ask for a room upstairs. What bothered me the most, they had constant problem with keys from the rooms, that were all the time opened, and as there is direct access from the street with no fence, anyone could come into the room and take whatever...:/ The hostel itself doesn´t have a nice chilling area, just the kitchen that was always dirty. There is a huge noise from the street traffic, on top of that while I was there, monstrous noise from the construction just in front of the room since 6am, noone could sleep. Owner proposed the reimbursment for that night that I have never received, even after contacting him multiple times... Overall pretty awkward experience, not at all chill holiday vibe I was looking for.

Good location, beach and restaurants are walking distance. Fast wifi, AC works well.

The bed is extremely uncomfortable. the pillows are essentially pointless as they are so flat. There is only one small quilt for the bed which is not large enough to cover two people if you are sharing the room. There are never any staff available to help, no one is ever in the reception area. Room never is cleaned, trash never taken out, toilet paper or towels never replaced. Obvious mold all over walls in bathroom. Shower can only be scalding hot or freezing cold, and the water pressure is inconsistent and weak so it takes very long to wash yourself. when requested to have shower fixed the staff was unable to. There is a safe but no batteries in it so it’s useless.

After checking in and being shown our room we decided not to stay there because there is a lot of black mold. The owner refused to give us any amount of refund and said they knew about it but had been too busy to clean it. Black mold is extremely toxic. We then tried to get a refund from booking.com but the hotel lied to them and said they offered us a free upgraded room, that never happened. They did offer us a different less moldy room but still moldy too.

I liked the location of the property and helpfulness and availability of the owner.

Mold on the walls visible in the bathroom. The smell of mold in the apartment due to the bathroom and most likely a moldy AC. The level of cleanliness of the apartment and shared kitchen was disappointing. The equipment in the kitchen is quite old, dirty and mostly broken. Either price need to be lowered or the things repaired.

Nice staff, close to the beach, room and bath are big enough and clean

Like all hotels/restaurants in S.T. it is directly at the main road. So bring ear plugs. A hand brush on the porch to each room would be nice, to get all the sand from your feet.
