"A pleasant stay for three nights. Not very busy, so I had the dormitory to myself each night."

Nice peaceful location, very clean. Good wi-fi, and dorms had air-conditioning.

The dormitories are in the attic with beds on the floor, so not much head space. Hostel breakfast varied according to how many guests were there at the time.

Great location in a beautiful, sleepy part of Slovenia. Amazing bear watching nearby and trips to Cerknica Lake in easy reach. Clean and simple room and friendly staff.

"Charming Youth Hostel"

My bed in the dorm was extremely comfortable. For someone hiking the Via Dinarica, it was something I really appreciated. I really loved the charming characteristics of the place too. There were not a lot of guests, so it was nice and quiet.

This won't be an issue with people in a car, but the nearby stores and restaurants are a kilometre away.

Everything: Friendly and responsive owners Room was clean, spacious and cosy View from the window Very well equipped and nicely designed spacious kitchen The building is probably freshly refurbished, everything looks new The outside area - plenty of space for spending time on fresh air

Location is almost two hours away from the Capital. To get from Ljubljana to Ars Viva in Loska Dolina you can rent a car, or book a taxi from the airport which is what I did. Another option is to take a bus from Ljubljana to Podcerkev. In Ars Viva I rented an electric bicycle which was a fun experience. For breakfast we had a buffet of fresh food and drinks. My room had a lovely view and was well kept, which can be said about the whole property. There were no issues with the WiFi, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which added positively to my stay. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

The only downside would be for those who want to rent a car, since rental cars are not an option in this vicinity at the moment. If you take a taxi from Ljubljana to Ars Viva it costs about 140 euro, but the bus will cost you about 6 euros.

Had the whole thing for myself. Spottles place, well equipped.

Got a lot messenges from the place tl:dr Unfortunately I missed the message that I should have ordered breakfast in advance. My bad.
