Sylvia was an excellent host, providing local advice and going above and beyond to help us make the most of our stay on the island. The room was cleaned daily, and there was even filtered water available to fill your own bottles and reduce plastic waste. The location is a 2-minute walk from the seafront and main restaurant / shopping area, which was nice because it was quieter than if it were right in the centre. Excellent local bakery 30 seconds up the road, which we visited every day! We liked it so much that we extended for another 4 nights.

WiFi was a bit weak in our room, but worked well when the we could get signal.

A suíte estava composta por quarto e banheiro amplos. Tudo muito limpo. Ambiente muito tranquilo. Na esquina tem uma padaria com boas opções de pães, salgados e doces a um preço ok.

We loved our stay at Hostal Suiza! Everything was great - the bed was comfy and the pillows were good, the shower was hot and pleasant, and the wifi worked flawlessly. The air-con was great when it got too hot and the ceiling fan worked well too. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, the location is handy to everything but also quiet and relaxed. Couldn’t have asked for more to be honest!

Great location, comfortable rooms good facilities

The apartment was clean and spacious. It had ventilators in the rooms as mentioned, but the weather was extremely hot so there weren´t enough.

The garden was horrible, absolutely unattended. It was impossible to get the Wifi from the apartment, you must move it downstairs. We were asked to close the bedrooms because there was no key avalaible for the entire apartment. The electricity instalation was poor, so we were asked not to use the shower and the toaster at the same time. The shower had little water and no options for the temperature.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms located 5 monute walk from the pier and town. The hosts were very friendly and provided a small communal kitchen with filtered water, which is a big plus. Would 100% recommend!
