Prenotata una stanza con 2 letti (letto a castello) indicat come con superficie di 17 mq. Arrivati la sera in stanza non ci ricordiamo di queste specifiche (prenotato diverse settimane prima). La stanza è molto più piccola (8 o al massimo 9 metri quadri al massimo bagno compreso). Il giorno dopo segnalo la discrepanza alla ragazza alla reception e vengo letteralmente preso in giro: mi viene detto che la stanza è effettivamente di 17 mq e che non hanno un metro ma possono provarlo (vengo anche accusato di essere in cerca di sconto e trattato in modo scortese e la questione non viene affrontata in modo costruttivo/propositivo). Mi viene detto che nell'ostello non ci sono altre sistemazioni e che l'indomani mattina (a fine soggiorno, quindi) avrei potuto parlare con il direttore e verificare le dimensioni della stanza. Quello che sostiene la struttura è palesemente assurdo, basta usare i letti per avere un'idea delle effettive dimensioni. Intanto provo anche a misurare la superficie della stanza anche con un'app e conferma che sono 8,9 metri quadrati. Chiamo l'assistenza di booking, ma non riescono a trovare un accordo con la struttura. Dopo cena infine mi chiama il direttore e mi offre finalmente una soluzione: una stanza di un BnB di sua proprietà che è rimasta vuota, molto carina. È stato certamente un upgrade rilevante rispetto a un letto a castello (anche se fosse stato effettivamente in una grande stanza di 17 metri quadri), ma questo purtroppo non compensa la fregatura iniziale, la presa in giro, una notte passata in uno stanzino e un trasloco fatto alle 11 di sera (poche centinaia di metri, ma comunque...)

I was really lucky to book this place. It has a beautiful atmosphere and feels very local and authentic. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and even the travelers I met there were some of the friendliest people I could have hoped to meet. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, the buses that connect to the entire Amalfi Coast, and the FlixBus stop. It made getting around very easy. Overall, I had a great stay and would happily recommend it. 😊

The only downside was that I had to change rooms for my last night, which wasn't very convenient. I also preferred the 6-bed dorm I stayed in initially—it was spacious, bright, and had a lovely view of the street. The 4-bed dorm I moved to for my final night didn't have quite the same feel.
