Nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, very close to the castle ruins, supermarket and various restaurants.

Owner is a friendly lady. Towels are available for free. I appreciated to occupy the room before check-in time.

The dormitory was manageable only because i was alone. The high wooden frame makes it super unconfortable to go in and out the bed. The heavy pieces of cloth that serve as curtain don't help neither. There is no individual light, if there are other people, you will have to sleep with light on or stay in complete darkness! If you want to read, forget! But for me the very worst part is that it is dirty. Everywhere it's not maintained properly and frankly not very appealing. I met 2 girls of staff the day I arrived but obviously,they don't clean. Having dropped an earring, I watched under the bed with a torch and had a shock in seing the amount of dust and dirt accumulating surely for a long long time. It's the first time I experience this in my many trips to Japan. When having a hostel, you should put all efforts on doing a good service if you care for customers to come back.For me it will be only once, sorry.

スタッフの方が気さくで楽しかったです。 家具にしても、備品にしても、趣味よく過不足なく、心地よかったです。

チェックインの時、入り口に蚊が大量にいて閉口しました。蚊取り線香を焚いていただいた後は、驚くほど減りました。

Convenient to see obi town sights. A suitably equipped kitchen and very friendly host. Also very quiet when we stayed.

Only one toilet, but there was no trouble accessing it when we stayed.

The owner was very sweet and friendly, and provided helpful guides to the food and sightseeing options around town. The common kitchen area was quite large and well-stocked, and the smaller capacity of the hostel meant it was easy to chat with other travellers around mealtimes. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable as well.
