Bliss & Beats Hostel

On était trois dans un dortoir pour 12 , et il n’y avait PERSONNE. Les dortoirs pour 12 sont divisé en deux ; ca fait plutot dortoir pour 6 avec chacun sa salle bain. Donc il n’y avait pas grand monde mais c’était confortable pour une nuit. Il y a un restaurant toute la journée ce qui était pratique et une piscine c’est non négligeable !

El sitio es bonito y esta bien, pero lo de tener la música a tope incluso cuando no hay gente y es tarde es raro. Esta bien ubicado, puedes ir andando a muchos sitios y las camas y lavabo son comodos.

There were a few cockroaches and with the halls being open, we could hear the music and people talking loudly downstairs from our room, which was a bit disruptive later in the night. We were also going to do washing there but when we checked in, other guests were at reception claiming their clothes were ruined - this put us off entirely as the receptionist didn’t care whatsoever and her solution was to try iron everything

Most everything! The room was comfy, if you like a firm bed, this is the place for you! Hot water and a/c were great. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The bar staff were nice and accommodating. The food I had was tasty, and I enjoyed the 1$ beers for happy hour. I would definitely return!

I have only two minor complaints. One, in room 205 the seal on the toilet was bad and it almost always smelled like urine in the bathroom. I would rinse it down with the showerhead, but the smell would eventually return. Not really a problem, but I didn't like smelling pee every time I went in there. Second, there are little cockroaches crawling around in the bathroom and room. Not a heavy infestation and I was never worried about the bed. They are harmless, but it wasn't fun to see them crawling around. Mind you, none of this would keep me from rebooking when I return to Phnom Penh.

I typically move hostels quickly but I was in no rush here since I felt so comfortable. The pool and lounging chairs were very nice and comfy. The food was reasonably priced and actually good and filling. And the happy hour draft was good too. A/C worked great through our most of the day.

This goes for a lot do Asia but the bathroom didn’t have hand soap, but they provide body wash and shampoo so its was fine
