The staff/ owners were very friendly and it is right in the centre of town. When I contacted them about my issues, they were really friendly and understandable. Even agreeing to let me cut my stay from 5 nights to 1.

Rooms are really basic - but that’s okay. But due to the location being above Crust and directly on the road side, the hostel can be accessed by anyone. It is not monitored. The noise level of this place is truly unacceptable, I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to open a hostel there. Other reviews mentioned some noise from the road etc but with ear plugs it is ok… it is definitely not. There was karaoke coming from the beer and wine shop directly under the hostel. I contacted the property and asked what time this finished. They said normally at 10/11pm - this was not the case. The karaoke went on until 1am. When that eventually stopped, there was loud music/karaoke playing from crust until 4:30am!!! I had ear plugs which were no match for the noise. Tried my AirPods and they too were no match. It wasn’t just the noise it was the bass that I could feel. I finally managed to sleep at 5am and woke up at 8 to check out. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you have 0 problem with extremely loud noises whilst sleeping.

doors are like paper, you lock them with a tiny key so if someone would want to “break in” they could easily do so. it’s extremly loud bc the rooms are facing the main road

The staff is amazing and always there for anything you need with kindness and a smile. The rooms have a great price, are comfortable, clean, and they have a water kettle. Location couldn't be more central. I stayed last year in the dorm and this year in the private room and other people staying there were always respectful. There are only 3 rooms, 2 four bed dorms and one private room. Bathroom is cleaned regularly.

I stayed in the private room and while that was great, the room was extremely hot, the floor cooler wasn't doing much and was very loud anyway to have it on during the night. Adding AC would be great. Dorm rooms now have AC (upgrade from last year!) and are very comfy. The other down side, and it has nothing to do with the accommodation, is that this year there is no beach as water levels have risen. Last year you had a gorgeous sandy beach right in front, however this year there is no beach out front.

The rooms were super clean and fresh sheets. The lady who owns it is so attentive & sweet & came in daily to tidy. THE AIRCON. perfect. location also perfect. stayed 4 nights when i’d only booked one!

Room with only 4 beds so it was fine. Contact with the owner via WhatsApp was fast. Self check in available. Socket near to the bed. Bathroom clean, there was always toilet paper available. Nice view from the window. You can see the ocean. I think there was a kettle in the room so you can make a tea or coffee.

A bit noisy cause it's the same building that a restaurant which is also a qrty place (The Crust). No hot water available. No mosquito nets or no curtains so not too much privacy.

I liked that the bathrooms and rooms were clean as well as the sheets and towels in good condition. The family that welcomed you and was in charge of cleaning were very very friendly

The location is good because it is close to everything but obviously it means that there is a lot of noise 24 hours a day, from parties, random noises on the ceiling, motorcycles or buses honking so loudly but with Wax Plugs, you will be fine. It is not a hostel so do not expect common areas, you know this from the beginning but there is not much vibe as it is only rooms, but I met incredible people in my room and I wanted a quiet accommodation, not a very social and party hostel so It was fine for me.
