Riad Sijane

Wonderful Riad in a great location. The host was very kind, the facilities were beautiful and breakfast was so good!

The riad itself is stunning, beautiful tilework throughout, a gorgeous rooftop, and warm, friendly staff. On the surface, it checks every box.

Unfortunately, the mattress completely ruined the experience. It was the worst I’ve slept on in any country I’ve ever traveled to. The padding was completely gone, you could feel the metal frame underneath, and it was sharp enough to dig into your skin. I flipped it the second night hoping for some relief, but the other side was just as worn out. Such a shame, because everything else about this place is lovely. Fix the mattresses and this would easily be a 5-star stay.

I did not feel comfortable as a single female staying in the shared room, and the host was overworked and not friendly. It was raining and there was no covered area to gather in, except the sleeping room which had no wifi.

La posizione è centralissima e senti un clima davvero tanto rilassato e familiare. Mi hanno preparato la colazione anche se era fuori orario.

Ho aspettato un bel po’ prima che qualcuno mi aprisse il primo giorno. Ma fa nulla, clima rilassato.

This place is magical - I came back after a year and nothing has changed! The lovely staff, the amazing people that you meet at the rooftop, the charm... I stick to my score - love it and will be coming back anytime I'm in Marrakesh ❤️‍🔥
