Nonmembers of Hosteling International (HI) must purchase the membership card at the hostel upon arrival. Towels are not included in the rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 5 per person. The card costs are as follows: - EUR 7 per year for single guests up to the age of 26 years. - EUR 22.50 per year for single guests of 27 years or older or for families that include a child up to the age of 26 years.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "Expensive Hidden Prices"

I liked the lobby.

I did not like the fact that I was asked to pay 22 Euro on top of my- non refundable- booking. It clearly mentions that u need to get a membership- but on the page it says it would be 3,50! (Have the screenshot). The fact that towels (5€) are not included in the price should also be stated CLEARLY. Checkout is too early (10:00) and to request your adult guests to strip down the linen, mattresses and open the windows before leaving after having paid 22 euro ;) is pushing it I find. Yes I’m aware it’s a youth hostel. And if it were cheap - I would consider it a fair trade.
