Hostel No 5

Very basic room in a large building very close to town, shared kitchen and bathroom, some parking...

For a hostel, the accommodation was quite comfortable. We stayed in a 5-bed room, just the two of us, and there was a bathroom nearby with separate facilities for men and women, as well as a spacious kitchen equipped with everything needed. The plumbing, furniture condition, and cleanliness of the room were all good. The bed linen and towels were not new, but clean. Free Wi-Fi was available. Access to the room was possible at any time, and the entrance to the building was secured with a personal magnetic key. The location was excellent—on a relatively quiet street very close to the city center, with free parking nearby. The doors to the common areas have a soft-closing mechanism, which prevents slamming and adds to the overall comfort.

The pillows and mattresses were not very comfortable, but acceptable. The entrance is accessible only via a long and steep staircase, meaning the building does not have a barrier-free entrance; though this was not an issue for us.
