Esperanto Bed & Breakfast Surf Hostel

Ambiente tranquilo, el personal muy amable, ducha caliente, incluye desayuno, muy cerca de la playa, de restaurantes y de tiendas, además cuenta con una terraza

Nada malo, solo cosas que se pueden mejorar como tener instalaciones más modernas en general y quizás complementar el desayuno (que es avena, yogurt, banano y café)

The hostel was way lower quality than what I expected looking at the price. I cancelled my stay with them after arrival. It was disappointing for me.

Jose was an exceptional desk host. Accommodations and flexibility were easily made for me to stay an extra night and check out and leave my baggage in my room later until I needed to leave in the evening. Excellent communication and help to provide information on things to do in Montanita as well as help to plan for a Galapagos tour. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful if I needed anything. Breakfast options could of varied a bit more, as I was lactose intolerant and it breakfast was mostly just granola and yogurt. But other than that, this place is very clean and quiet and not even a 1 minute walk from the beach and 3 minute walk from the town. I would definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

If you're looking for a party hostel or a place to meet other travellers, this isn't the open-concept environment to do so, although there is a beautiful yard and patio at the back for a hangout. I noticed that most guests mostly just came here to rest and had their own plans. Which I didn't mind, this was perfect for me, as I had my own plans and family and friends to meet up with.
