Location is good. Rooftop view is good

Breakfast was good but they don't serve exactly 8 am as they mentioned. It was served at 8:30 am. We had to go for tour and requested if they can serve by 8 am something like juice or coffee but they did not. It was not convenient. All the rooms are roadside. Extreme noise till later in the night. Difficult to sleep.

I stayed over a long period at the Vibes Hostel (extended my stay multiple times to stay 3 weeks in total). The general vibe of the place was excellent, I made connections with both guests and workers and they quickly made me feel I was part of a family. Santiago, the manager, is a great guy and went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my stay and provided a bunch of priceless local tips The daily breakfast was excellent and the accommodations' prices for both dorms and private rooms (tried 4 different ones) are unbeatable for the location, which is close to the historic centre so at walking distances to all the museums, churches and other touristic attractions Quito has to offer. I will come back again 😊

Really beautiful spacious room. Had an upgrade through booking and was great. Nicely furnished and really comfy bed. Great staff. Very welcoming and loads of information. Nothing was too much trouble. Even helped with info once we'd left the property. We came back for a might when returning through. Breakfast was great and Luciano was lovely. Great rooftop terrace.

The Staff was amazing, from volunteers like Luciano to Kevin (who does the free-walking tour) to the owners as well. The pizza is tasty. The location is nearby cheap eats (try the restaurant desayuno y almuerzo for a true ecuadorian experience) or also pizzeria boschetti (entertaining cook and good pizza), live music/brewery (la oficina), the cathedral, and outings can be organized (would recommend the secret garden cotopaxi or going to Cuyabeno, in the amazon). Really nice view. Enjoy.

It can be a bit noisy at night (dogs, motorcycles, people, etc.)

Vibes has a very friendly and helpful staff that we very much appreciated. The building is old but very pretty and our room was spacious. We enjoyed the rooftop deck and restaurant space and the dogs that live there were lots of fun. Overall the place had a chill vibe that we really enjoyed.

The building needed some maintenance. The windows in our room wouldn't close properly and had duct tape in place to help seal them. And hot water was really only warm at best. There was no filtered water available for guests, just bottles that you could buy in the restaurant. We asked and the staff told us that the tap water was safe to drink. We didn't try it because we had heard so many people warn against drinking the tap water. Every other place that we stayed in Ecuador provided filtered or bottled water free for guests. I'd suggest bringing a water filter (we used a Sawyer Squeeze that we use when backpacking). We also never felt especially safe in the neighborhood. Of course that's not the fault of the hostel, but we'll probably stay in a different neighborhood if we return to Quito.

The staff was amazing, helping us through flight cancellations and delays, and everything just worked out wonderfully. The breakfasts were nice and the room was spacious and comfortable.

It was a little cold in the building. Shower head could've been better.
