the staff/ owner is very nice, gave me a pair of ear bud as my room is next to the road( I had stay in this room because a guy extended his stay, but I booked successfully on booking.com) good shower

no WiFi in the room even the staff/owner let me to use his own WiFi, but still not working in the room the room is dusty, so I opened the windows for some fresh air, but there’s mosquitos later on. I didn’t have good sleep the room is just next to a road which can be noise until 9 to 10pm, you will need ear buds the room I got changed is 5 beds with private shower, you may want to avoid this

The owner, Fabricio, was very helpful and accommodating. Furthermore, the common area outside was really nice, well-equipped and clean kitchen, very hot showers (best shower I’ve had in a hostel) and lastly located in a tranquil area of Baños, with a really great view.

The only very small minus was the location, which was a bit far away from the city (around 20min walk)

You know how there are those times when you have to stop to pinch yourself and wonder how did we get so lucky to stumble on something/someone/somewhere that immediately becomes a highlight of your travels? Well this is all of the above - and more!! Our stay far exceeded our expectations thanks to the most kind, fun, and genuinely caring owner! Fabriccio (and his sweet parents)couldn't have been a better host. His exceptional level of communication before our arrival, as well as his ongoing attentiveness, and wonderful recommendations for things to do and where to go, and all around general help and interactions made our week absolutely unforgettable! Even if Banos had nothing to offer(and it couldn't have offered more fun and adventure!)we'd come back again just to see Fabriccio! :-) It is very apparent he loves what he has created for his guests. So much so it seems he can read your mind to always be one step (or many!)ahead always making sure everything goes well for you. So many little touches like an unexpected coffee, or snack, or use of a bathing cap for the hot springs, eecommrndatikn and information for the best your operator in town, and even offering a late checkout to accommodate our night bus departure! The list goes on and on. (And we saw it extended to all of his other guests too) The backdrop of the volcano, the quiet, the hot showers, convenience of shared kitchen, ease of comminicationg in English, and a perfect location were all icing on the cake! We can't wait to return! Don't hesitate to book your stay here!

Everything was perfect about this place, including the hosts

The view on the volcano and the always helpful and kind owner Fabricio. He even gave me snacks and drinks without me asking for it. I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying a week.

It's right next to a busy road, so you might wake up from traffic noises if you're a light sleeper.

The only con I have been issued is because my room is very close to the main road, the horn from trucks passing through early wakes me up at 5am in the morning.
