Las Hadas Albergue -solo para Peregrinos - Vegano -Bar

This was one of the best albergues I have stayed in. The beds are comfortable and spaced out well; the showers are clean and good water pressure; the patio/garden space in the back is a great place to relax (it also has a little bar); and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The vegan dinner was tasty and filling, full of vegetables and protein from chickpeas. Good veggie meals are hard to find on Camino, so I recommend everyone take advantage of the dinner here!

The highlight of the albergue was the backyard space, which had tables and chairs set up, and when I stayed the roses were blooming. The evening pilgrim menu was vegan which made a nice change to the usual meat-focused pilgrim meals. The vegetable soup served was very tasty, and hearty. The room had a reasonable number of beds, so it was quite a busy space; especially at 5am when the first pilgrims got up and set off. The shower and toilet cubicles had double doors, to reduce the impact of the door swing on the space - they worked well. There were separate female and male toilet/shower rooms.

There was only one external shutter on the window, so the external light came into the room at night.

Bunks were ok and shower was good.

We had heard great things about this place and were excited to stay here. I was surprised that the garden was overgrown and looked unused. We had the pilgrims meal for 16€. Just vegetable soup, rice and bread. No protein in it and we left still hungry. Wifi didn’t work in the dorms.
