Fernando and the other staff were super friendly, accommodating and really helpful. If I could give a higher score I would. The hostel feels more like a hotel, it’s safe, has a friendly atmosphere. Comfy beds, breakfast is great and whilst the hostel is away from the centre of Las Palmas, there are great connections with buses, I walked into San Telmo a few times during my stay and caught the bus back. Even a taxi would be around €6 so don’t let the distance put you off. I loved that the hostel building had a great history (ask Fernando). I would definitely return here on my next visit and if you have a car there is street parking and a nearby free car park. The hostel is spotless, any requests are sorted out straight away and Fernando clearly takes pride in the place. It was a breath of fresh air and one of the best (in fact in my top 2) hostels I’ve ever stayed. Towels were changed frequently. There is a great ravine (barranco) to walk through within walking distance of the hostel, this has some wonderful range of plants and wildlife of the canaries and walk through banana plantations. There’s a great bakery just up the road, a local Lidl, Aldi and the Ballena shopping centre within walking distance. Also a couple of local bars to get coffee/food. There is also a communal food shelf in the hostel that you can check for supplies as well, in case you don’t have something.

There is nothing I didn’t like or much to improve, but if I would wish for anything, a really small thing would maybe to have some refreshments (tea/coffee) available (other than at breakfast) to make a hot drink, if you arrive without any supplies, but if Fernando was there he would of course give you a teabag so it wasn’t really an issue. Maybe an extra pillow to be available, only for sitting up in bed, again I could have asked and I’m sure it would have been provided. Hi

Generalnie bardzo miłe miejsce, sympatyczny własciciel i obsługa, przestrzenie wspólne bardzo ladne i zadbane. Kuchnia wyposazona bardzo dobrze.

Hotel jest raczej nastawiony na to ze goscie beda spedzali czas w przestrzeni wspolnej, ktora jest swietna ale... pokoje to zupelnie inny temat. MIelismy maly pokoj 4 osobowy z 2 lozkami pietrowymi. W pokoju nie bylo ani jednego krzesla na ktorym mozna usiasc, stolik mial 30x40cm moze a lozka pietrowe byly tak niskie ze nie dalo sie na nich siedziec - w praktyce w pokoju mozna bylo tylko stac lub lezec. Nie chce myslec jak by tam bylo w 4 osoby. Kontrast miedzy pokojami a czescia wspolna jest ogromny, ale jednak w pokoju sie spedza wiecej czasu. Do tego mielismy okno na kuchnie z ktorej caly czas slychac bylo krzyki, wiec w praktyce tylko w ramach ciszy nocnej bylo cicho. TO co opisalem wyzej jest to pewna specyfika hotelu (chociaz mozna by dodac dwa krzesla w pokoju), wiec nie bede bardzo krytykowal, jednak warto miec swiadomosc

A long walk uphill from the city centre but buses are available. Lacked bed curtains which other hostels used in my trip have.
