It was my first time being in dorm it was interesting experience I enjoyed the stay it was clean had kitchen and everything that you need to survive and more amazing location even lived in tbilisi and never been to that kind of place amazing it showed me different side of tbilisi I really recommend the hostel as a woman you can definitely stay there safe

Nice themed hostel. The beds are comfortable. The location is close to the starting point of most georgia tours from tbilisi, and can walk to the liberty square pretty quickly. The staff is very nice. I lost a watch by accident during check-out in the hostel and they helped me find it and keep it for a few days until I came back to tbilisi while passing through.

I stay here every time I visit Tbilisi. The owner is a great gal who is always helpful, fun to chat with, and is willing to give support any way she can. The part about choosing Alcatraz hostel is it's location. It a 15 minute walk to Victory square, many great restaurants are all within walking distance. Also one Tbilisi's most famous streets is only a 5-7 walk. Lots of fun places to visit as well.
