The Wayan House

The location was excellent. Very close to everything. The beds had privacy curtain, nice bedding and a towel. the shower was big and spacious and had hot water which was nice after being soaked in the down pour. The room had a big bench to put your back and also lockers. I liked that there were two sinks outside the shower/toilet area. The breakfast was very nice.

There were “bed bug” signs everywhere which freaked me out a little. I don’t know if they had an outbreak at some point but it made me uneasy. Also, I couldn’t tell if the pool was regularly cleaned. unfortunately, during my stay there was renovations going and it was very loud almost all day. I feel like we should have gotten a discount for that. hopefully they will finish soon.

The Wayan House has all the benefits of a hostel for meeting new people/ having a good time but also quiet at night so everyone can sleep. Included breakfast is very good. Staff was so helpful and sweet. When I had to check out early to get it the airport, they were able to accommodate me including breakfast before I left. Very nice place to stay!

I've stayed here longer than planned because I really liked the combination of having privacy in my own room and the possiblity to get in touch with other travelers (at breakfast or in the pool area) Sri and the other staff members are super friendly and helpful. There are options to choose from for breakfast. The bowls were my favorite.

If you're photosensitive while sleeping it's better to bring a sleeping mask, because the lights in front of the room is burning the whole night (some airline provide it anyway). The water pressure in the shower isn't that strong.

Staff were absolutely lovely! They remember your name throughout your stay and are super helpful. Breakfast was super tasty, rooms were clean and comfy. Good location right near the centre but away from the main street so it’s quieter. Not super social but that is like all of Ubud.

There was a very nice social vibe, while at the same time relaxed. The breakfast was really good. Would stay again!

Great staff, good location

Beds were not that stable, felt like waking up the person under my bed when I would get in my bed (the top one).

Great breakfast, helpful staff, let us use facilities for a bit after checkout, helped organise tours and taxis

The toilet was dirty, the beds were creaky
