Tropical Wave Hostel Morjim Goa

A perfect place to stay if in Morjim. Located 5 minute walk from the beach and in short distance of supermarket and restaurants. Owners and staff incredibly helpful. It is by far the cleanest place that I have stayed in India. I would 100% recommend Tropical Wave Hostel.

Location was good. The staff was very friendly

Menu was overly priced. Noodles, a bit too oily for my taste

It feels like home staying here. The owners were extremely responsive, kind, and friendly, and they were approachable whenever I need help. The cleanliness is also a big plus point - I feel happy about being able to walk barefoot on the premise. The kitchen is small and cozy, and they make home-cooked meals.

Wifi was decent, but not strong enough for video calls, which was sad considering it was a co-working space. The breakfast was also a bit pricey, and I was expecting more for the amount I paid (I paid 200 rupees for only two pieces of pancakes).

Beautiful mansion entirely refurbished to host this beautiful cosy hostel. Large comfortable room beautifully decorated and modern bathroom; toilets in the bathroom. Nice breakfast offering a good variety of food.

We wanted a clean, simple place for a stay for one night, and it was just right. The added bonus was that the beach was within walking distance. Is a great set-up for those on a budget.

The road to get there is really very narrow, so if you are driving there, be warned. Also, there is only one parking space for a car, so ensure that you book it in advance.

We had a wonderful stay, thank you Ullas and Gauri! The location is great, the hostel is very clean, the food is great and Ullas, Gauri and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I can highly recommend the hostel!

Fantastically Awesome Place ..so far the best hostel I have stayed at in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, ambience, food served and to top it the hosts Ulhas and Gauri along with their staff were simply magnificent. Home away from Home feel. Words dont do enough justice to describe how great the place was. So all in all I give it a rating of 6/5 or 11/10..

The host/owner Ullas is a wonderful person. He will welcome all his guests and greet them in sucha a homely way. The entire property is kept clean and well maintained. It’s a nice quiet place close to the beach. There’s a tree house where you can work from, or sit and chill. They have lot of board games, carrom/chess. There’s kitchen facility where you can order your own food. Everything is available within the property, good home made food, alcohol, fun games, people to talk around, the staff is also excellent. To sum up, the best of Morjim is Tropical Wave Hostel.

Personally there isn’t something I didn’t like, but There can be a few things done like probably a fun activity or something like on Friday nights music session for all the people staying in and around the property.
