Olive Garden House Siwa

The location is central / a short tuk tuk away from town and the food that Mr. Hilal's wife made was the BEST we had in the entire country. The olive chicken, soup, salad and drink ARE NO JOKE. Like I'm still wishing I had a plate today lol

The facilities unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The shower flooded every day and the amount of flies everywhere makes it unbearable to eat outside. We enjoyed breakfast (very generous servings) in our room. The activities provided are fun and we chose to do a few (tour to lake and dunes). However even though we were given prices of everything before agreeing to do the tours, when we went to check out, the owner tried to charge us MORE. This really left a bad taste for us because we had enjoyed (to a certain extent) staying here. But then to have the owner and wife try to scam us at the last possible moment (literally about to take the van back to Cairo) is highly unprofessional and tiring. We came to siwa to relax, not be seen as waking atms.

A Very Pleasant Stay in a Quiet Area We had a very nice time at Siwa Garden Olive. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the area is exceptionally peaceful, which makes it perfect for relaxation and a good night's sleep – especially since the hotel is located on the outskirts of Siwa, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. The staff was very helpful and always willing to provide any necessary information. The only downside was that, despite turning the boiler to the maximum, the water remained cold. Apart from that, everything was great, and we had a positive experience!

Lovely quiet location, they accommodated early check in on arrival by overnight bus and accommodated late checkout on overnight bus departure. Beautiful gardens and walkable distance from town approx 2km. Very eco friendly and owner spoke fluent English, other staff not fluent but attempted to help when asked. The owner was very helpful in arranging tours if needed. He took us for an all day tour himself around the Salt lakes, Thermal springs and to Fatnas Island for Sunset. Breakfast was freshly cooked and provided in the gardens. We had a lovely peaceful stay with lots of walking and very fond memories

Would have liked towels but we did have our own and didn't request any. Very little phone signal in location but this was known in advance from other feedback, phone signal picked up once you were in the town.

The place has a masterpiece magnificent garden and rooms built from Siwa environment materials . The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would like to go there again.

The hotel is a bit far from market area

The thing I enjoyed most about this place was the tranquility of its surroundings, the beautiful design of the rooms and garden, the affable staff, standing among them, Chol, who gave me a great tour on my first day, and made me feel welcome as a friend and the owner, who was always taking care if everything was going well and who generous I accepted an early check in and breakfast, as well a late check out. And the tour to the desert was a beautiful ending of my stay there.

I loved taking my breakfast more isolated in the garden. And the Sudanese and siwie staff would take my breakfast to me. The only thing I d have to suggest is that they don’t take so long to serve the coffee separated from the breakfast.

Far from the center of the city

Very cozy small property with owner and family living on the premises, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and attractions. Food was outstanding specially the home cooked food we had for dinner. Would recommend it to people looking for a get away from frantic Cairo life.
