Old Parkland Hostel

We stayed one night in the old parkland hostel. It’s a beautiful house and an astonishing garden behind the house. The host is very friendly and tries to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you stay at the old parkland hostel and they offer you to take dinner and or breakfast, seizes the opportunity!! It’s extraordinary. Very delicious traditional food, cooked fresh with the vegetables and fruits from the own garden.

You wouldn't expect more comfortability and relaxation than this in a hostel. Everything in this hostel had above the hostels' standard, it's more like a villa atmosphere. Garden was very diversified with full of trees and plants, especially the coconut trees. Host offered me a coconut drink as well when I just arrived, he was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the garden and breathed clean air which was a great bonus. Good homemade food. Thank you for everything !

hostel is very beautiful, along with his garden. He was very helpful with recommendations and making sure we weren't overcharged by transport as well as making recommendations of places to visit. The beds were comfortable, the bedroom clean and the air con great! Breakfasts was available upon request and it is amongst the best food we have had on our trip! Travel to Galle Fort is quick and cheap. Will definitely return if in Galle again!

It was very pleasure to stay in this fabulous place. This was a great hanging out place with loved ones, friends and families. Quality and facilities were well beyond from an ordinary hostel. Place was clean and AC and WiFi worked well. Plenty of things can arrange in here because the place was huge. Really nice host, happy to help you with anything. Yummy Breakfast. I loved my stay after arriving in Galle and just chilling out. Would definitely stay again !

Very clean facilities and had everything a traveler needed to be comfortable. Pinidu was very welcoming and offered home cooked traditional meals.

This is the perfect hostel for peaceful & relaxing stay with unique structure & a huge garden in backyard . The owner Pinidu is very friendly & helpful person, as he helped me a lot to explore nearby places, along with that their Homemade sri lankan dinner and breakfast were awesome.I would not hesitate to come back again and I recommend other travelers to try this place out.
