Ruamoko Hostel

Trent the owner was excellent. Super accommodating. Staff were excellent, super friendly and outgoing. Food was great too!

Great owner, nice private rooms incl. A/C, delicious food, good vibes, ...

Chill, remote bungalows. Pool and hammock area were nice for chilling.

It’s a 15 minute walk to the beach break and one or two restaurants. Pretty far from anything else. Owner drive us to taco Tuesday which was great… but he’s kind of a grumpy dude and made comments that discouraged me from staying there as a female. Recommend La Tica just up the beach for a more authentic experience.

Trent was a really cool and friendly guy. The food offered at the restaurant was delicious and the portions were large for the price. Jiquelite was quiet at night and there was great surf within walking distance.

As a budget backpacker it would have been nice to have had access to a guest kitchen.

The vibe is super good, Trent does an awesome job with hospitality and made dinner for everyone. The beach is a 5 min walk up the road.

We were there during the "dead season" in early October and still loved it! Trent, the owner, was great. A really cool dude with tons of local knowledge. He even drove us to a local restaurant one evening. Also, he cooks up the best gallo pinto in Nica! The property is nice too with a central pool that I can imagine is popping during high season.

Great hostel close to the beach with amazing surf, a nice swimming pool and areas to relax. Everything you would want from a hostel near the beach. The owner is very nice and brings you to different restaurants around the hostel every night. Overall amazing.

It was a pleasure to stay in ruamoko. Trent the boss is a very caring and nice person. The breakfast is really the best we had in nicaragua so far.
