The One Hostel Hongdae in Seoul - Foreigner Only

It is very near to restaurants, shopping centers, convenience stores, banks, train stations and night market.

They don't issue receipt. Very late check-in time at 4pm and very early check out time at 11am. I am not sure if it is all the same in hostels in that area. Plus I dont know if it is just coincidence that I wasn't allowed to checked-in early the day I arrived even if the room is available. However, during my last day I heard the staff allowing one guest to check in even it is just 11am. Very unfair. Then it is very specific on the email that every guest coming must not have symptoms of covid but the staff are coughing and sneezing during my visit. No electric blanket/comforter available. Very cold since only the underfloor heating is available.

The volunteer staff were really really offish, really weird vibe they created with their offishness. One time one of them said to my partner, is That Girl coming back? She has to clean her spoon!! Like angrily as if I had spat on a spoon and told this man to clean it (I had only gone for a wee lol). It's a small hostel and should have a pretty nice easy vibe but the angry Frenchmen made it definitely weird 😆

The staff is very friendly and kind! They helped me understand transportation around area, etc. Thank you so much!! Also, the bed is super comfy and the heating was optimal.
