Should out to the best owner Ahmed! Thank you so much for your kindness and your hospitality! You're simply the best! You made this stay unforgettable, giving us so many options to go into town and do some surfing or cliff jumping. Keep on rocking it Ahmed! You are building something great there!

The view and the food were really good. Ahmed is super friendly and knows everything about surfing in the area. Will definitely come back

The host was kind and helpful.

The toilet was outside the room on the terrace. To get to the shower you need to go thru the terrace and go downstairs. Also, the shower and the entire bathroom was a bit dirty. On top of that, I paid more to get a certain room and I got a different, smaller one. The photos of that place look really nice on booking.com but reality is quite different. For the price of £30 you can choose better.

That we managed to get out of there alive

Don't stay at this place. It is unsafe,especially for women. When we arrived it was chaos and the rooms weren't ready. In the middle of the night the owner Ahmed and various other men were loudly drinking and taking cocaine right next to the window of our room. We asked to please please let us sleep but they ignored us. It also felt very threatening as they were rowdy and loud. They also shone their phone lights in our window, I don't know why. I as a woman, felt extremely unsafe and was thankful not to be there alone as it was an extremely isolated location. The owner eventually left, leaving his friends partying. Around 9 am the owner came back, beer in hand, not having slept by the looks of it. We complained and he got aggressive saying just leave a review. As we drove away he came chasing after us for more money and even blocked the road so that we wouldn't pass saying that we hadn't payed, which was untrue. It was a scary experience and the police were called. Please don't stay here, it's unsafe.

Super cozy vibe, nice people around. Food is wonderful and the surroundings are quite. Perfect for the good rest and chill. The best hostel ever. Definitely come back!

Find the location was a bit tricky. It‘d be better if there is a sign on the road.

El Faro Surfstay is one of the best places I've ever stayed in - a little paradise in the middle of nowhere. Ahmed made me feel welcome from the first moment, he really is more like a lovely friend, did so many things for everyone, cooked wonderful dinners, prepared amazing breakfast, took us surfing, on a walk, the list goes on. Had an amazing room with fantastic views, the whole time was perfect and I'm already hoping to return.

Small remote paradise with a very friendly and peaceful ambience. Beautiful decor and atmosphere of the place. Perfect for those who want to relax by the sea

This is a good place for expert surfer that want to stay off-the-grid compared to more popular places and just have a place to sleep. Very nice view, strong internet

If you are more beginner and want a nice accommodation where to chill for a few days I will not recommend it. The house is not clean, especially the bathroom downstairs. We were allowed to use the kitchen, but everything was dusty and filthy. We were lucky that the staff tried to help us witch check-in on the first day, because we were not able to meet the owner until the following day. His team managed to put together a nice breakfast and stay on top of things as much as possible. But you can tell that the management is all over the place and using the hostel more like his own house, inviting friends and partying. The second day, they cleaned a little bit, so it was better than at our arrival.
