Alpine Sports Lodge

Easy to access. Excellent bedding with lots of blankets available. Very quiet. Need to bring your own toiletries.

The Kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils needed to prepare food which is a massive cost saving when traveling with a family also having a ok gym was a real bonus with a very competent trainer there to give advice .After speaking with fellow travelers who were staying at the local caravan park they were paying very close to the same price as it was a night at the Alpine sports much rather stay in rather than drag a caravan also the rooms have lots of options from 4 bunk to 8

Maybe a bit of paint here and there but

The lodge is in a convenient, quiet location in a beautiful town, near the river and mountain bike trail. We had access to a gym and book library, well equiped kitchen and clean linen on the beds. Room was clean. Plenty of space to lock up our bicycles. We enjoyed the company of fellow travellers in the communal living areas. Very clean bathroom.

Fridge could do with a wipe out

The kitchen was not clean, especially the communal fridge and there was no coffee, sugar or milk available to make a basic drink in the morning.
