Alpine Sports Lodge

Location was good. Close to main city. Start was very professional.

Place can be a little bit more tidy. It felt like the kitchen was not clean. For the hygiene of everyone it would be good to have some toiletries like shower gel, shampoo, moisturiser and hand dryer or paper towels to wipe hands.

We liked the location of Alpine Sports Lodge - a 10min walk to the centre of town for dinner meant we were away from the Easter crowds and we enjoyed peaceful evenings. We rode the Wangaratta-Bright (84km) rail trail and the Bright to Harrietville trail (60km) and we walked 24km so we really appreciated being able to use the onsite gym facilities for rolling and stretching our muscles at the end of each day. Comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms, BBQ, outside seating and undercover area. A small kitchen with all necessary utensils and equipment and guests were mostly conscious of fully cleaning up after themselves. Economical and family friendly. A 10pm curfew and convenient to the bike and walking trails.

You get what you pay for, value for money in my opinion

The property was a little tired but affordable and not too fancy. Had everything one would need. I.e. kitchen, lounge, dining, etc. Towels and linen a big thumbs up. I'm a single dad, so I'm very appreciative that a place like yours still exists.

Like - good price, full kitchen (shared) and access to gym Dislike - kitchen could be a bit cleaner but it’s acceptable

We had a great stay here. James was very responsive to our enquiries. Place was clean, good shower pressure. Would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Bright!
