The staff is great

Didn’t find it was clean enough and the towels were not properly washed it smelled bad

Staff was friendly and approachable. Things were somewhat explained in a clear way. Breakfast was nicely set up and people kept it tidy. It’s set in a huge beautiful house with a nice green backyard.

I find the place a bit run-down, and some areas weren’t clean enough such as the bathrooms. The toilet paper holder was broken, the bathroom mat was stained and soaked, an extra towel rail might be needed. The whole place definitely needs a revamp. The unusual thing that happened was that a non-guest female person slept in one of the beds in my dormitory, but just later on I realised she was one of the staff members. I just found that odd. The loud music after 10pm outside was a bit annoying but not unbearable.

Location. Close to the beach and surrounded by green :)

Shared bathroom. Could be cleaner and better organized.

The hostel is very authentic and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! I really enjoyed the outside space of the hostel. And there is of course the cat!
