Horn Ok Please Hostel Jaipur

We really wanted to like something about the hostel, but for the amount of money we paid for our private bedroom with en-suite, our experience should have been much better.

This was one of the most expensive rooms we stayed at in our 8 weeks in India. We wanted to have a bit of luxury at the end of our trip. The pictures promised this and our interaction with the hostel prior to arrival was good. We were also looking forward to meeting other guests in the common areas. In reality we had to step over rubbish to get into the building which was in an isolated area of the city. The hostel was two floors up in a residential/empty building via a dinghy staircase. We then had to leave our shoes outside the hostel entrance. The reason given was to keep the hostel clean!!!!! The common area was dark and miserable (or it just made us feel miserable). Whilst the bedroom was ok, our private bathroom needed updating and it shared an internal non closing window with a bathroom used by all guests. We could hear and smell everything from the other bathroom including cigarette smoke even though the hostel was non-smoking. Our experience was very disappointing and could have spoilt our stay in Jaipur if it had not been for the wonderful time celebrating Holi. Finally, we wouldn't recommend this hostel for older guests.

Food is good , hygienic and tasty.

Roof access should be there

Der var ok rent og personalet meget venligt. Fik lov til at tjekke ind før tid, da sengen var klar. Man kunne få lov til at stille sin bagage efter man var checket ud.

Der var skimmelsvamp på væggen. Der var ikke nogen dyne, da andre i værelset åbenbart havde taget 2 dyner.
