Luna International Hostel

The staff was very helpful, has a lot of knowledge regarding Estelí, cigar factories and surrounding areas. May give you a lot of recommendations and help arrange tours or guides. We recommend the cigar tour done by one of the people from the hostel, which was a very good experience. My Spanish capabilities are very limited, but the guide spoke slowly and simply so that I could understand everything, which is truly appreciated.

offers only activities in town, but you need to do everything on your own: no tours! sociable, good kitchen

NO window/ ac in a room for 7 people!!! needed to sleep with the door open do breathe fresh air…

Room did not have enough plugs. Just 2 for 4 beds including light and fan.

Owner was super friendly and helpful. Other travelers were really social. Totally recommendable

Cool place for backpackers in Esteli. The hostel is cute and dorms and bathrooms are clean. Part of the hostel is the treehuggers travel agency through which you can book tours to Somoto Canyon, Miraflor and more. The staff is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to help you.

Good hostel with a good kitchen. Location is close to the Central Park with bars and restaurants round. However it is a 20 min walk to terminal north and 30 min walk to terminal south (both are 10 mins from each other). They have a fantastic travel agency and the staff have excellent information. Canyon de Somoto is an awesome adventure! The cigar tour is really I te resting too. Sometimes it is hard to find someone who works there, but if you just go across the street to the restaurant, someone can help you. Very quiet hostel.

Very limited English if at all. But far from bud terminal, but good location.
