Dolphin Cottage Mirissa

The property was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and it was minuets from the beach Walking distance to all The bars and shops The breakfast was lovely and a sweet knock on my door each morning to say it was on the table

There was limited hot water

Location just off the main road, directly across from the beach. Very friendly hosts - a family with young children. The breakfast is excellent - a great start to each day. Rooms and bathrooms are large and bright, beds very comfortable. There is a washing machine available for guests to use.

Of the 4 rooms available for rental only one offers hot water - although I realise this is not uncommon in parts of Sri Lanka I think this should be made clear to prospective guests. After a day on the beach, returning to the room covered in sun lotion/oil a warm shower is essential. The hosts were very understanding, but we were unable to change rooms. Having booked for 10 nights we left after 4 - the hosts very kindly refunded the unused nights.

No hot water in here, I think this information they should share with people before they will make a reservation. Bad communication with the owners and there wasn’t soap for the hand wash, we ask for that but didn’t get it. This absolutely doesn’t worth it for that price. We had much cheaper accommodation in Sri Lanka and was it absolutely much better than this.

Spacious and clean room. Good breakfast. Nice located along the main road but still quiet.

Wifi wasn't working that well (they tried to fix it but it was still not very strong)

When we arrived there we were so tired. The staff gave us coconut water . It was good

The internet connection some hours was poor.

Very clean big room, friendly owner, great location near by to very location at mirissa, great service, healthy and very delicious breakfast.

Location is good, near turtle beach! Family is very very friendly but only one can speak little English. Room was big, clean enough.

We ordered our breakfast for 10am but they loudly knock on door 7:50 till you woke up because they already served breakfast. Breakfast not good. Bedsheets old.
