Intoy's Place Panglao near Beach

I loved my stay at Intoy's Place. Everyone was absolutely lovely, attentive and made sure you are okay and comfortable. The common area of the place had a laid back vibe and the rooms minimalistic interior. Easy to explore Panglao and Bohol with a scooter.

Great location just outside of Panglao beach. Were able to rent a motorbike which made getting around so easy. Staff were wonderful and helped us with recommendations on where to go during our stay in Bohol. Room was very clean and overall a great place to stay in Panglao.

Lots of chickens at a nearby property which made sleeping quite tough. Cockerels going off all night. No fault of the property but just something to bear in mind.

Having a private room and bathroom is amazing after having stayed in dorms for two months. 30 min walk to city center. Sweet and helpful staff. We booked w/o ac and it was no problem.

At breakfast we were always served untoasted toast (even after having asked to get it more toasted) and the coffee wasn’t good (not strong enough, looked like tea)

The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Drinking water provided throughout. They helped us hail down a jeepney for when we left.

You will need a bike as Alona is a 20 minute walk, but the property do rent bikes, plus tricycles pass by frequently and the fare was 30 pesos for 2 pax.

Nothing much.

Room size small, breakfast very poor, water not runing, not possible to take shower, lies about islad hoppping - offered us a trip with their boat, then recieved a trip with someone else, saw nothing at all, just a scam from my point of view, renting us a motorbike not working properly. Dissapointment.

Mitch was a great host! She gave me a lot of recommendations and was very lovely! They invited me to have a traditional Philippines snack which they eat during Holy Week! The first night I was in the Family Room which I’ll recommend as it’s spacious, have AC, have tables and a sofa! The second night I stayed in the Triple room which doesn’t have AC, only fan and it’s very simple. I guess if you are not traveling during March - May, fan would be enough. The beach close by is not great for swimming (but has a beautiful sunset!) as it has lots of boats but if you have a motorcycle or are willing to catch the tricycle, you can go to other beaches like Dumaluan which is lovely!

I came to realize that across the Philippines the water pressure is not great! So it’s not necessary something I didn’t like about this place, but more of a heads up! I learned how to use the bucket to rinse myself as it was more effective than the shower head! 😅

We loved our stay in this property. Hosts were very nice, they even invited us to a birthday party of their family, it was a really great experience!

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was confortable, the AC and wifi worked very well! It was very well located within walking distance from the main beaches. Breakfast was very good too!

Beautiful place, charming family, perfect room!

The location isn't ideal if you want to explore the town or the beaches, but with a motorbike you can get around very easily.
