Intoy's Place Panglao near Beach

Breakfast was simple, but it proved to be more than enough for me. It was eggs and toast with a side of butter, fruit jam + coffee for you to prepare. There's a water dispenser good for both hot and cold drinks. Imee in particular was generous enough to ask me if I wanted more toast, I was just too shy to accept the offer. The place also served other food options, which was a relief compared to most food establishments nearby and along Alona Beach.

An extra pillow and a bidet would have been useful. I had a hard time minding my business in the toilet as I only had a roll of toilet paper going on for me. The pillow was too thin for me, so I left the place with back with shoulder problems LOL

The property is clean and safe and worth the price.

The daughter of the owner is overpricing the goods that they are selling in their mini store when she gets to realize that you are one their guest. Also the water in the lavatory is not working well.

It was more of a homestay than a hostel, but the family really made you feel at home. The room and breakfast were nice and the Wifi was great!

It is a bit too far away from Alona, but there are motorbikes for rent.

the place seems quite new!

although it’s a private room with bathroom, the bathroom was a bit smelly and it made the room smelled bad as well… and the rooster is just next to my room so i woke up by the rooster at 4am.

Staff is great and the place has everything you need. Aside from the room they’ve got a convenience store (with great price), serve dinner and can arrange transport upon request. Note it’s not in the middle of the city center in Alona, but they also provide with motorbike rent which makes it easy to move around. Plus, in my case I was looking to be a little further from the noise

Very good private room close to MadMonkey, good AC and friendly staff. The studio room is cute and has everything you need.

A minor point, the breakfast was small but it was free with my room rate. I'd prefer a little more substantial but for the price this place is really great 👍

The hostel is brand new. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean, nice lockers, big curtain, soft towels and good working AC. The family hosting the hostel are extremely friendly and helpful. Free breakfast included. They have a convenience store in the hostel, so perfect to grab a beer you can drink in the cosy common area. You also feel very safe as they lock the main gate in the evening. Closeby there is a very nice Mexican restaurant!

When we were there the Wifi in room wasn’t installed yet, but it should be fine any time soon.

- WiFi in our room first floor was not working at all but they do have WiFi at the ground floor (outdoor dining area) - Our room was quite dusty: probably because it's right in front of the street
