Bunkyard

One of the nicest, cleanest and welcoming hostel in India so far. From the moment I checked in, the team at bunkyard would assist in whatever I needed help with, place to visit, to eat, and even advice on the rest of India. The rooftop is comfortable to hangout at, especially at night. If you are looking for a place to relax and getaway, it’s definitely a place to be!

location was a little uphill but the view was good.

Next level decor. Beautiful private rooms and dormitories. Very friendly staff. I had a good pizza at the rooftop cafe. Stunning views on the roof too.

new building, great view from the rooftop, projector with sound system hooked up to a computer, understanding staff who spoke good English. great value for money at $3.

triple level bunks, 9 in a room! attached bathroom - can hear every step drop and tinkle, let's not discuss the smells from the bathroom door. insisted on a double check-in, once on your phone, then on a paper register. regular annoying reminders that outside food isn't allowed, even if you buy yourself a loaf of bread from the shops. to the staffs credit they eventually understood and allowed me to eat my food in peace, even waived my chai bill, just not very welcoming to have your food intake be watched like a hawk and commented on. no indoors common area to chill in other than the tiny reception area and cafe. the box bunks are a tad short, I'm not 6" but couldn't stretch out.
