- We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 3 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behavior is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds. - Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families. - We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in. - This hostel neither serves nor permits the consumption of non-vegetarian and egg-based food items within the property. - Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus. - We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services. - Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property. - Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas at the premises. However, the same shall be only as per property’s discretion and local laws. Please reach out to the property prior to your arrival to confirm the same. - Right to admission reserved. - Please note that the Swimming Pool is operational from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A deposit may be required at the property.

This is my very first Solo travelers experience and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Zostel. Zostel Banikhet has the best view.A secluded and serene place.Food is good.They serve the best masala chai (made by pravin bhaiya).The staff is really humble and helpful.Grateful to Rohan(Host) for his support and cooperation.

"Pathetic experience at zostel banikhet not recommended."

Location was good .

Poor housekeeping, every corner required cleanliness and maintenance. Actually property looks good in pictures only, but actually requires renovation and maintenance. Property was short of staff that may be the couse of poor cleanliness and hygiene. Extra comforter and pillows were full of moisture and fungal smell . We even found leftover shorts in our bathroom which means room was not cleaned and bathroom was not even given a look . Highly disappointed . Lastly food , it can't even compete with third grade dhaba. And surprisingly i was charged extra for that though at the time of booking price shown was including meals .

"I loved my stay at the property but my counterparts were a bit uncomfortable."

The property is situated at a hilltop . The view from the room was splendid.Atmosphere was peaceful and serene . Food was delicious!

The rooms were not up to date when we checked in. No toiletries, tissue rolls, bath towels were provided.We had to tell them to provide the same .There was a big spider in the room and even the mattress had a big bump in the Center which made sleeping very uncomfortable.
