GBGreat location cabin, big stone kitchen and very cosy room. Great view for the morning and sunset. Choose this cabin! As there is a few more connected to it. You can get a 3 minute (20pesos) tuktuk taxis to and from town and also to deliver snacks and drinks. :) or it’s only a 10 minute hill walk to town. Host was always on WhatsApp when we needed. There’s also a tiny convenience store opposite.
Could do with a newer TV as we spent a lot of time chilling inside and an extra heater for the kitchen.

Nous avons eu très froid une fois le soleil couché. J’ai gardé mon manteau jusqu’à l’heure du coucher. il n’y aucun chauffage d’appoint. Il n’y avait rien à disposition comme du café par exemple ou des boissons sauf de l’eau filtrée
GBThis is a construction site with various cabins being constructed and large drops off the pathway where building is occurring. Our cabin was barely finished, there were nails poking out the stairs and open wires hanging out the wall. There other cabins were equipped with a fire but ours was not so our family of 4 had to sleep in one bed due to the cold. There were large nails poking out of the wooden balcony (my husband pulled out 2). We left after only one night of our stay.

GBWe loved the location being slightly out of the main part of SJDP. The view is breathtaking and it has been imprinted in my mind. And exceptional walk to the cabin which has been beautifully laid out and cared for. You can see the love for the foliage and the environment. Well done to the team. The cabin (4) is ample in size and lots of blankets and we had a heater as evenings were cold. The staff (Mrs Horastia and Omar) weee world class and Omar was always available to message and very responsive. Accomodation was very clean. Also the kitchen has almost everything you need. It was quite private and only the second night we had neighbours who seemed to be a bit loud but did quieten at 10pm ish. We felt it definitely offered good privacy. There is some construction happening in front of cabin 3 - so enquire before booking :)
We found the cabin to be a bit soulless and really would benefit from some personality. I understand more things makes it more risk for people to break things but still it just felt cold. The bathroom is the one room I felt particularly needs some work and feels very plastic. The water pressure is poor but at least there is hot water.

I went during the rainy season so it gets cold at night. Next time, I will probably get the rooms with a fire place
