HoBar Hostel

A localização do hostel é muita boa. A qualidade / preço também é agradável. A rua do hostel é bastante sossegada, mas logo a alguns metros de distância tem uma rua principal com vários restaurantes e bares.

A acústica dos espaços é muito má, ouve-se as pessoas a andar no quarto em cima, no corredor, a abrir a porta. Ouve-se tudo. O quarto é muito abafado e quente.

The main positives of the stay were the location and the cleanliness of the property. The space was very clean and well maintained, which was one of the aspects I appreciated most. The location was also convenient. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, allowing entry quickly without delays or complications. The main issues that negatively affected the stay were the level of noise, the absence of a curtain on the window, the lack of a table or proper surface in the room, and the absence of a fixed support for the shower head. The accommodation is quite basic, and the sound insulation is poor, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and common areas. During the stay, I was woken up by furniture being moved and cleaning activities early in the morning. In addition, the bedroom window faces an internal courtyard with activity starting early in the day, and there is no curtain, so outside light enters the room directly. During the night, there are also moments when the interior is illuminated, which can be uncomfortable for light sleepers. I also found the lack of functional furniture inconvenient. There is no table or suitable surface to place luggage, bags, or clothes, so belongings end up being kept on the floor throughout the stay. A makeshift wardrobe takes up space but is not practical for short stays. I also missed a full-length mirror and additional surfaces in the bathroom. The shower has no holder for fixing the shower head, requiring it to be held throughout the entire shower, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The towels are small, thin, and rough, with below-average quality.
