Great location and spacious comfortable room

The place has a more of a vibe of a shared house than a hostel, which is a good thing. It's clean, quiet and cozy with a perfect location. Get a pair of earplugs in case of the noise on the street and you're all set :)

Bed was very comfortable. Excellent location. Every place was very clean. Good choice for the price and the location. Bathrooms were clean. The host was very polite and helpful.

The room was very small. In fact, it's not a hostel at all. It is a 3 room apartment, 2 rooms of which are separated by 2, total 4 small rooms and one big room, that's why soundproofing is impossible. During the night, it is extremely noise from the street until the morning. In the morning, the noise comes from other guests continuously opening the doors. Even the floor itself, when someone walks around, it makes a lot of noise. But other guests were very respectful and silent. If you don't mind the noise, that's a great option.

Nice hostel, very friendly reception, helpful, great location right in the city, was all in all a very nice stay. Breakfast was served in the café next door, which also tasted very delicious. The rooms are nicely decorated and the shared bathrooms and the kitchen were clean.

Acacia hostel is located in the absolute heart of Budapest. To say that the location was amazing would be an understatement: the location couldn’t be any better. If you’re looking for access to the best nightlife in the city, you are quite literally steps away. If sightseeing is more your speed, you are a 15 minute walk from the Parliament and St Stephens. Anywhere further is easily accessible by nearby public transportation options. It made experiencing Budapest seamless. The property itself was tastefully decorated, clean, and homey! It had everything you could ask for in an accommodation, including a fully-functional kitchen. The highlight of our stay Acacia Hostel was manager/owner, Boldizsar. He ensured our time in Budapest was one to remember. He was kind, helpful, and a comforting presence whenever we had any sort of issue or question. Look no further for the best local recommendations - he is your man! We had accidentally booked ourselves for one less night than we needed, and he was kind enough to arrange for us to stay another night. He genuinely cares about his guests’ having the best taste of Budapest possible. I cannot recommend staying in his charming hostel enough!
