Acacia Private Rooms & Studios

The location (in the old Jewish Quarters) was central and happening. The host, who was super friendly and helpful, shared some historical facts about the area and gave us some good travel tips. The apartment feels like a home away from home, with all the appliances that one could ask for.

Nothing majorly negative - just that we had one hot day when we felt that an air condition would have helped (considering that it was mentioned on Booking.com) but we had a tower fan that worked reasonably well. Thereafter, the weather was way more pleasant so an AC would have been quite unnecessary.

We stayed in room 1 which was very large. The one in the picture. We were staying in July so it was very hot. The a/c was great and gave us great respite from the sun. The property is set in a square of flats. It's quite close to several pubs. You could hear some of the hubbub of the street but it isn't enough to disturb your sleep. There is a kitchen with all the usual amenities. Good WiFi. There is no TV in the room. Which made no difference to me. Bordegar is a great host. He was friendly and very helpful. We had a wonderful time in Budapest. This was in part to the accommodation. Would stay again and would recommend. Great value for the price.

Location 7 minutes walk from the metro, and 4 minutes from the electric train, in addition 3 minutes walk from the nearest bus and the best is the bar and pubs that are right outside the hotel.

Lots of revelers waiting outside or smoking outside the entertainment places below the hotel and it's a bit hard to fall asleep.
