Peace, quiet, fresh air, lovely host, close to pubs and walks, lovely to get away from It all x extra special touches like carrot cake and loved sitting by the log fire. Perfect for what we wanted for the weekend.

"Cool place, just needs more TLC"

7.0

Little Shetlands in our field were lovely to watch. Apple orchard you walk through and can sit at a bench there for peace although dog kennel in ear shot so better after dark. Bed was comfortable we had a very nice sleep and the host was lovely

Before we went we saw some reviews grumbling about the estate opposite. I asked for pics from the front entrance due to this and host said she'd take pics for me to see. This didn't happen so I let it be and went anyway, unfortunately I think the reason she didn't take the pics was as the comments stated the estate is very close to the shed and it's definitely not as isolated as advertised, which was a shame. Although no noise etc it could do with it's own fencing even if it was wicker or make shift it'd make it feel more private. Also the decking is facing the estate side with windows and doors clear to see with a clear view straight into the apple shed essentially. when returning from lunch out the host notified us shed let the dogs into the field and they'd eaten a couple of items we'd left out on the table on the decking, although me and my partner had left these items on the table with the gate locked the dogs had been let onto the decking and the only reason for this being the host had done this making me n my partner think she'd been into the property whilst we where out. Also the place was definitely unique but a pretty big trip hazard linking front room to kitchen with no warning signs and the shower was literally full of spiders with cobwebs that had looked like they'd been there for a while, we actually used the hoover provided to do some hoovering of gaps/joins in ceiling etc due to the amount of them around. The shed is obviously in the middle of a field so you'd expect some critters but these seemed to have been settled for a while.good value for money but if your seeking solitude you won't find it here. 5g tower in eye shot, estate right Infront of doors and even wet wheelbarrow on arrival. Only minor details which could have made the stay as expected just lacked the TLC a quirky stay like this needs to make it as special as you imagined from the advert.

Fabulous, cosy and really well equipped. A beautiful setting and welcoming host 😊 The added bonus of the gorgeous ponies in the meadow made for a unique break away! Will definitely return for a longer stay.

"Cosy, cute, lovely."

9.0

Lovely secluded location, very peaceful. A cake, fresh milk and tea, coffee and sugar for your arrival were wonderful. Lots of cute and cosy touches in the cabin like extra blankets and hot water bottles but we were never cold as the log burner was wonderful at keeping the whole place hot.

Loved everything just need shoes/walking boots you don't mind getting wet to get to and from as grass pathways.
