Kuremäe Hostel

Location was excellent for a peaceful stay. The monastery next door was a bonus. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

If you don’t have your own car then you will be relying on the occasional public bus.

it is certainly good for the monastery. I think it is the only place in the area where food is served and the food is good. get all you need before it closes at 8pm. The bus service from Johvi is quite good. The monastery is worth a visit. Inside is beautiful though unfortunately no photography not allowed inside. The Russian Orthodox service I saw in the late afternoon was the nicest religious service I have ever seen anywhere, Visitors can stand quietly at the back. Though at night the monastery is closed behind a wall.

The room I was in had a sky window with nothing to block out the light. That was no good on a 'white night' in early July and affected my sleep.

Everything was nice! Property is clean, great location - very close to cloister. Friendly open staff

Breakfast well worrth the extra 7€. Really one of the very few places in area to stay. Host was very friendly.

Hostel is little outdated and would need some renovations.
